Did the 80 layoffs at the Globe include all the copy editors? From Joanne Kates’ review of Globe Bistro this morning:
Despite evidence to the contrary, some people are afraid of eating pork.
Come again?
I have no idea what that means.
Well, it means what it says, eh?
Some people conceal their fear of eating pork.
(That’s a Canadian “eh”, by the way.)
Now, why Joanne Kates is mentioning this fact in relation a restaurant review is beyond me.
