In any event, I think there is a case for a degree of institutional diversity within Christianity; it's not necessarily a bad thing to have different denominations pulling in different directions especially now that we have gotten out of the business of persecuting each other. And it will go on and on and on. The issues are not resolvable, given the current tendencies of the RC leadership and the direction the Anglican Church is taking at least in the first world. It will be interesting to see if Third World Anglicanism is at all tempted by Rome. Of course there has always been a trickle toward Rome from conservative Anglicans in the first world too.
