Torontonians are also some of the most pretentious people I know on the planet, worse even than the Parisians. The wonderful term, which I so wish I could take credit for, 'world famous in Canada' pretty much sums up 'this world class city' of ours. We have a world class free standing structure. A world class opera house (showing second rate, world class operas), a world class symphony orchestra who are upset they are paid in the local currency, you name it, we're 'world class' and so eager to let the rest of the world know it.
