One of the great love songs that no one thinks of when they’re thinking of love songs. Perhaps because the original recording was in 1987, and the subsequent recording — this slightly countrified version, that adds on Georgia’s vocals — was buried in an album of mostly covers, Facebook, in 1990. Perhaps because there’s nothing very obvious about it as a love song. Anyway, it’s a very slight and soft song with lyrics just elliptical enough not to be sappy, sung by a couple that has been happily married since before I started dating — people who, I’m thinking, know a thing or two about love.
