OK, thoughtless might be a bit harsh. However, it’s one of those classic cases where the headline sounds clever, but misunderstands something it’s trying to make light of — in this case, the greenhouse effect. Because wouldn’t Baird be opening the windows of the greenhouse… so we don’t live in a greenhouse anymore?
And because I didn’t initially point this out, the story this tops is about how Windy Baird is about to announced short-term emissions targets, but will not push to meet Kyoto targets. So maybe the headline is just too sophisticated for me.
